Our College Hills Ministers

	Darren Brown - Witt Family Life Center Director dbrown@collegehills.org Weekly Article Darren arrived in January, 2003 from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, having spent the previous six years working with the University Church. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce and Business Administration and a Master of Arts Degree from The University of Alabama. He is a high school football official, serves with the board of Impact, and is a fan of the Cincinnati Reds.

	John Grant - Equipping Minister jgrant@collegehills.org LIFE group LINK Weekly Article John Grant has served as Equipping Minister since July 2005. He is responsible for helping groups and individuals discover and develop their gifts and devote those gifts to the glory of God. He works with leadership development, ministry organization, and the LIFE group ministry. John and his wife Amy have three daughters, and he holds degrees from Lipscomb University and Abilene Christian University.

	Carol Locke - Children's Coordinator clocke@collegehills.org Children's Ministry LINK Weekly Article Carol received her bachelor's degree in elementary education from Lipscomb University and her master's in curriculum and instruction from West Virginia University. Children have always been the joy of her life including her son and daughter and now her four grandsons. She considers working with the children of the College Hills church family as a tremendous blessing to her journey.

	Larry Locke - Pastoral Minister llocke@collegehills.org Weekly Article Larry is a native of Tennessee. He and his family moved to Lebanon in 1977. He is a graduate of Lipscomb University and has advanced degrees in communication from Akron University and Kent State University. He and Carol have two children and four grandsons. His greatest joy is seeing God at work in our world today in changing lives.

	Johnny Markham - Youth Minister jmarkham@collegehills.org Youthreach LINK Weekly Article Johnny has been a full-time Youth Minister since 1985. He first served the McGregor Blvd.(now Gulf Coast) Church of Christ in Ft. Myers, Florida from 1985 until 1990. He has been with College Hills since 1990. In addition to his responsibilities at College Hills, Johnny serves on the boards of Winterfest and Impact. He and his wife Vicki have three children; Mary Beth, John and Katie. In September, 2006, Johnny completed his quest to attend a game at all current Major League Baseball stadiums.

	Kevin Owen - Preaching Minister kowen@collegehills.org Weekly Article Kevin Owen was installed as College Hills preaching minister on Sunday, April 6, 2008. Kevin and his three sons, Chase, Reid and Trey moved to Lebanon from Albuquerque, New Mexico where he served the Montgomery Church of Christ for 9 years. While in Albuquerque, Kevin’s wife of 18 years, Cindy Terrell Owen, lost a 6-month battle with cancer. Soon after Kevin began his new ministry in Lebanon God blessed him with a beautiful and godly helper, Jana Graves. On November 2, 2008 with the support of many wonderful College Hills members, Kevin and Jana were married. Kevin received his undergraduate training from Freed-Hardeman University and his Masters of Divinity and Doctorate of Ministry degrees from Harding Graduate School of Religion in Memphis, TN. Kevin is passionate about his Lord, his family and seeing the local church grow and thrive.
