Summer Camp 2009
Our College Hills' kids, 3rd grade through high school, will be joining with Smyrna Church of Christ for Summer Camp, July 5 - 10 at the Clyde York 4-H Camp in Crossville.
This is a really wonderful camp ... children can swim in a huge pool with a great waterslide, shoot rifles or bows and arrows, canoe, fish, play games, make crafts, have great Bible lessons, and sleep in air conditioned dorms.
The cost for the week is $190 per child. Applications are now available at the Children's Ministry kiosk in the foyer and the Children's Ministry Info Desk. We also need adult staff (especially men) and donations for scholarships.
Melissa Pittman is leading the CH part of the camp.
SUMMER CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS: Christian camp can have a tremendous impact on a child's faith, so we want to make sure money does not keep any kids from going. If you would be able to help local kids go to camp, please see John Grant or Carol Locke. Also, let us know about kids who might have a need.
