Summer Camp 2010
**June 21, 2010 update note: It’s not too late to sign up for camp! College Hills is joining Smyrna Church July 4-9 at the 4-H camp in Crossville. Camp is for kids entering 3rd grade through high school. Cost is $200. It would help our planning if you sign up now, but registration is open until camp begins. Email John Grant or Carol Locke for information, or call the College Hills office at 615-444-9502.
Our College Hills' kids, 3rd grade through high school, will be joining with
Smyrna Church of Christ for Summer Camp, July 4 - 9 at the Clyde York 4-H Camp in Crossville.This is a really wonderful camp ... children can swim in a huge pool with a great waterslide, shoot rifles or bows and arrows, canoe, fish, play games, make crafts, have great Bible lessons, and sleep in air conditioned dorms.
The cost for the week is $200 per child. Applications are now available at the Children's Ministry kiosk in the foyer, the Children's Ministry Info Desk, and the lobby Info Desk. We also need adult staff (especially men) and donations for scholarships.
SUMMER CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS: Christian camp can have a tremendous impact on a child's faith, so we want to make sure money does not keep any kids from going. If you would be able to help local kids go to camp, please see John Grant or Carol Locke. Also, let us know about kids who might have a need.
