Our elementary pods for Grades 1, 2, and 3 are located at the East entrance of the College Hills building at the far end of the Children's Ministry wing.  These children meet together before class each Sunday to sing with Mr. Ben Spicer.  He does such a good job of teaching new songs and encouraging old songs and involving the children in singing.

 

The 27 Club and the 66 Club

In February we will begin helping children become members of the 27 Club and then of the 66 Club.  27 Club members are those who have recited the 27 books of the New Testament by memory.  66 Club members have added the 39 books of the Old Testament so can recite all 66!  (Yes, they can sing them!) 

During the opening assembly children can slip out to the Cub Center to say as many books of the Bible as they have learned to be checked off on their page in their class’s notebook.  Gale Hearn and Virginia Waters have already signed up to be listeners.  We could use several more people who are willing to listen from 10:30 until 10:45 any Sunday morning.

We’ll hope to have everyone ready to share in a huge pizza celebration party before promotion at the end of May.
