Adopt-A-College-Student

 

We are looking for individuals/families who would like to "Adopt-A-College Student".  Many of the college students at Cumberland University are not from Lebanon, and would benefit from a local connection.   As a host family, YOU could be that connection.

To be a host family for a College Student, the only "requirement" is love through support, encouragement, and an open home.  Below are a few suggestions as to how a host family can support their "adopted" student ... 

  • Occasional lunches together after Sunday worship.
  • A home-cooked meal every now and then.
  • Simply fellowshipping together at regular church activities.
  • Celebrating birthdays and other special holidays/events.
  • Offering a place to do laundry, spend holiday time, or simply for studying.
  • Going to the student's CU events and showing support.
  • and any other encouraging ways you can show God's love.
