20/20 Vision for College Hills
Courage is one thing that is often lacking in churches these days. Churches lack the courage to step out boldly by faith; courage to challenge status quo; courage to set goals and align resources necessary to meet them; courage to dream big, God-sized dreams. This series is the culmination of several months of praying, discussions and planning by both elders and ministers. Our goal is to, over these seven weeks, describe what we believe is God’s 2020 vision for College Hills Church of Christ.
May 13 
Generation Next Our dream at College Hills is to be a church where every mom and dad and every family regardless of what the family looks like, is a place where faith is nurtured and developed. We desire to be a multi-generational church filled with people who take seriously passing the faith to the next generation. The church must come alongside the home to equip, nurture and challenge moms and dads to take on this huge leadership task. Deuteronomy 6:4-9; II Timothy 1:5-7; Psalm 78
May 20 Vibrant Worship At College Hills we desire to be a vibrant worshipping community. We believe God has called us together each week to experience fellowship, gather around the table, be inspired by the word and sing praises to his name. Our dream is that we will worship in multiple services, venues and styles reaching our community in bold, creative and caring ways. Worship occurs not only on Sundays but also on a daily basis as we give praise to God for who God is and all God does.

May 27 Deep Community God exists in community as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amazingly God invites us into a relationship with him as well as with one another. Sadly, we are part of an increasingly more isolated and individualistic culture. In an age when we know more people through social networking, telecommunications and travel, often we do not have the time to form deep, life-impacting relationships. Our vision is that as we grow closer to God we also will develop deep connections and relationships with one another. We dream of a day when every member makes the commitment to grow closer to their brothers and sisters by being part of a class, LIFE group or support group and as a result experiences a deeper and more richly satisfying spiritual life.

June 3 Compelled to Tell Our dream is that everyone will be able to clearly articulate the Gospel and will feel compelled to share the message with those they love. We will be a church where every member is excited about inviting their friends to be part of the life giving fellowship. We will routinely provide opportunities that are visitor friendly as we seek to partner with one another and with God in sharing the Gospel.

June 10 Second Chances College Hills will be a place of second chances and fresh starts. We desire to be a church that takes our cues from God who always begins with grace. Our vision is to be a place for the broken and the hurting. We will strive to bless the least of these our brothers and sisters and look beyond ourselves to provide services and ministries that bless our community in specific and concrete ways.

June 17 World Witness We believe God has called us to be witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth. We will be a church that sends support to missionaries around the world while at the same time encouraging more and more of our own members to courageously make the commitment to go on short term mission trips. We will be a church that cares for our local community but also cares about our world. Genesis 12:1-4; Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; Acts 2
