Our ministers and staff serve to teach, equip, and motivate the church. Each person is skilled at offering focused attention according to their own specialized training. Our ministry team works together with the elders, deacons, and members.

  • Kevin Owen - Preaching Minister

    Kevin has served as the Preaching Minister at College Hills since 2008. He and his wife Jana have three sons, Chase, Reid, and Trey. Kevin received his BA from Freed-Hardeman University and his M. Div. and D. Min. from Harding School of Theology. Kevin is passionate about preaching the word of God with urgency and relevancy, training young disciples, and helping the local church mature and thrive. 


    In his spare time, Kevin likes to spend time with his family, read, bike, and travel.

  • Wilson McCoy - teaching Minister

    Wilson has served as the Associate Minister at College Hills since June of 2010. In that time his focus has been on working with young professionals, life group ministry, preaching and teaching, and helping to cultivate an intergenerational focus in the life of the church. This focus on forming generations together resulted in his Doctorate of Ministry project that he completed in 2016 with Lipscomb University. You can read more about his project in the book Intergenerate: Transforming Churches Through Intergenerational Ministry (July 2018). 


    Outside of his ministry responsibilities, some of Wilson’s favorite things include: making rustic bread from scratch, running to clear his mind and work off all the bread calories, and traveling to Disney World with his wife.   • Johnny Markham- executive/Family Minister

    Johnny began his role as Family Minister at College Hills in September 2016, after serving as a Youth Minister for more than 31 years.  Johnny calls the church to build faith at home.  The College Hills Family Ministry challenges parents and grandparents to accept the responsibility to train and nurture our young.  Our aim is to combine the two influences of home and church to make a greater impact in generational discipleship.  The ministry promotes strategies, tools, and resources to assist the home in being the primary place where faith is nurtured.  


    Johnny is a native of Columbia, Tennessee and a graduate of Lipscomb University.  In addition to his responsibilities at College Hills, Johnny serves on the boards of Winterfest and Impact.  He and his wife, Vicki, have three children - Mary Beth Peach (Justin), John Markham (Caty), and Katie Wood (Andrew), and three grandsons, Jack, Greer, and Wilson Peach.

  • Hope Sampson - Children's minister

    Hope was born and raised here in Lebanon, TN. Hope attended Middle Tennessee State University where she received her Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and Masters in Educational Leadership. Before coming to College Hills, Hope taught for 6 years at Coles Ferry Elementary. In her free time, Hope enjoys a good animal pun, attending Zumba classes, reading, hanging out with her friends and family, and watching cheesy Hallmark movies.

  • Alex Sircy - Student Minister

    Alex grew up in Goodlettsville, TN. Before moving to Lebanon, Alex served at University Church of Christ in Murray, KY, for 3 years as Student Minister. He and his wife Christine married in May 2015 and welcomed their first son, Oliver, into the world in April 2019.


    In his free time, Alex enjoys good coffee, watching whatever is on HGTV, and cheering on the Atlanta Braves, Georgia Bulldogs, Nashville Predators, and Tennessee Titans.

  • Jon reynolds - Worship Minister

    Jon Reynolds joined the staff of College Hills in January 2020. His focus is to create authentic, heartfelt and Christ-centered worship. He plans worship for both services and works closely with our praise teams. Jon is passionate about creating a meaningful environment to worship. He also oversees all graphics design and works with the welcoming committee. Jon also oversees all audio/visuals technology pertaining to worship. Jon is a graduate of Lipscomb University with a degree in communications, Bible, & Church Music. He also has a Master’s degree in Education.


    Jon was born and raised in the northeast (Wilmington DE & Washington DC). He and his wife Kristi have 3 children, Lindsey, Mason and Nolan. Jon enjoys singing and is a member of the Music City Chorus. He also loves the Tennessee Titans and the Nashville Predators. His primary pastime is being a dad; watching his children participate in extracurricular activities.

  • Darren browN - Finance and Systems Management

    Darren began working with College Hills in January, 2003, and has served in a variety of ministry and administrative roles.  He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from The University of Alabama. Darren has been a high school football referee since 1994.

  • Jayme Creswell - Administrative assistant

    Jayme has attended College Hills since 2003 and joined the College Hills staff in October 2017 as the database administrator and administrative assistant. Jayme married Jim in 2000, and they have two boys, Preston and Garner. Some of her favorite things to do are: cheering and watching her boys play football, watching UT football, playing with her dogs, and spending time with her family and friends.

  • Jennie Hopper - Administrative Assistant

    Jennie and her family have attended College Hills since 2017. She joined the CH staff in 2022. Jennie is from Mesquite, TX and is a graduate of Harding University. She and her husband, Rob have been married since 2003, and they have two sons, Jude and Levi. Jennie enjoys singing with the CH praise team and the Bert Coble Singers in Lebanon. She also enjoys aerial arts, sewing, and spending time with family and friends.

  • Vicki working

    Vicki has attended College Hills for 25 years and has worked in the children’s ministry here for more than 12 years. She is a native of Nashville, Tennessee, and a graduate of Lipscomb University.
